Archaeology Dig

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, July 24, 25, 27 and 28 9:00 am – 3:00 pm

Field Ecology Program for Junior High School Students entering Grades 7 through 9

This four-day program will be taught by science teacher, Heather Oliver, and retired science teacher, Lisa Torres. The students will explore the natural world on and near the grounds of the Enfield Shaker Museum where they will engage in hands-on ecology activities and a service-learning component. Students will learn about the history of the land use by the Shakers, and the interconnection between human activity and the environment in this place-based, outdoor program.
Cost: $200 per student. $180 Museum members. Scholarships available.
