2019 Archaeological Field School
May 20, 2019 - June 14, 2019
Conducted by Plymouth State University and directed by Dr. David Starbuck, Professor of Anthropology at PSU, this four-week field school will be the fifth year of professional archaeological excavations at Enfield. This year we will be continuing our exciting work on the site of the 1823 Boys’ Shop. We are all looking forward to another momentous season.
There will be both a four-week college credit offering through Plymouth State University and two, two-week volunteer offerings open to the public. Dig hours will be Monday – Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm.
Session 1: Monday, May 20 – Friday, May 31
Session 2: Monday, June 2 – Friday, June 14
Cost: Plymouth State University Students: In-State $495/credit. Non-resident $530/credit.
Volunteers (must be 18 years or older and must register for at least two weeks to participate): Free.
