Tuesday Tour: Guided Hike to Mount Assurance and Discussion of Shaker Theology

Join the Museum for a guided hike to the Enfield Shaker Village’s Feast Ground called Mount Assurance. The Shaker Feast Ground is a physical expression of the religious beliefs professed by the Shakers from the late 1830s to the mid-1850s. While on the hike, your guide will discuss how Shakerism transformed itself over the course of the late-eighteenth and nineteenth centuries.
