Join the Museum for a special presentation on how the field of Shaker Studies has evolved from the nineteenth century histories written by individual Shakers to the full-length academic press works of today. In this presentation, we will not only discuss how the interpretation of the Shakers has changed, but also make suggestions for participants who would like to learn more about the history and culture of this fascinating community.
