It features furniture\, photos and artifacts from the Enfield\, NH Shaker community. \n \n  \nFunded in part through a generous grant from National Endowment for the Humanities: Democracy demands Wisdom.

DESCRIPTION:Mary Keane Chapel Solo Organ Recital\nSunday\, September 15\, 2024\n4:00 pm\nEnfield Shaker Museum\nFeaturing\nHenry Danaher – Organ\n\n\n\n\n\n\nHenry Danaher is the Director of Music at the Church of Christ at Dartmouth College in Hanover\, NH\, and also serves as College Organist at Dartmouth College.  \nHigh Art in the Low Countries:  \nOrgan Music of Belgium \nInfluencing its larger neighbors in art and architecture for centuries\, Belgium has also been the origin of more than its share of fine music. Join us for an extensive tour of Belgian music for the organ\, ranging from the early 1600’s to the early 1900’s.  \n\nThis Mary Keane Chapel Solo Organ Recital will be followed by a reception in the Enfield Shaker Museum Herb Garden (weather permitting) or the Great Stone Dwelling. \n\n\nReservations are not required. Plenty of free parking. \nSuggested donation $15.00. All concert donations support the ongoing restoration of the historic Casavant Organ in Mary Keane Chapel. \n\n\n\n
