The shredding process can be monitored by the customer through a video surveillance system. All shredded paper media is taken away and recycled. SecurShred holds National Assn of Information Destruction (NAID) AAA certification for mobile shredding operation. \nOpen to Enfield\, Grantham\, and Springfield Residents \n*Limit of 5 boxes per vehicle (residential\, no business) \nFollow signs and cones to keep the flow of traffic safe for all contributors to the event. Everyone is welcome to gather on this day at Enfield Shaker Museum to knit\, crochet\, and weave. All fiber arts welcome! \nThis event is FREE! Bring your project\, your yarn\, your needles\, and a chair\, blanket\, and lunch or snacks. We’ll provide: \n\ntents–but you may wish to bring your own!\nwater\, iced tea or lemonade\, and cookies!\nhourly door prizes!\nlessons for those who want to learn how to knit or crochet!\nstash renewal through a yarn swap!\n\nWe will be knitting washcloths for a community in the Upper Valley who is in need. We’ll provide the cotton yarn and a dishcloth pattern for you to knit. Please bring size 7 or 8 knitting needles! We will have some to loan\, but encourage you to bring your own. It would be wonderful if you also brought a packaged bar of soap to be included with your washcloth. \n \n \nOther knit and crochet items\, from socks to hats to scarves\, are also welcome. Start your project with us and bring them to the Museum when you’re done! \n \nSocial Crafting of crocheting\, weaving\, felting and all fiber arts are welcome too! \nWorldwide Knit in Public Day is the largest knitter-run event in the world. It started in 2005 and is now celebrated in 57 different countries. \nWe hope you’ll come out and join us! \n*This is a rain or shine event – we will hope to be outside\, but have plenty of indoor space to accommodate any size group of knitters.

Previous appointments include Associate Professor at McGill University’s Schulich School of Music in 2007-2011 (assuming the role of brass area chair in 2009)\, the International Chair of Brass Studies at London’s Royal Academy of Music and Professor of Trumpet at the Rotterdam (NL) Conservatory. Edward Carroll is the Director of the Center for Advanced Musical Studies at Chosen Vale\, and was responsible for the music programming of the California State Summer School of the Arts from 2006-2008. He also chaired the commissioning committee of the International Trumpet Guild (ITG) from 2005-2011. \nMr. Carroll has served as Principal Trumpet of the Rotterdam Philharmonic (James Conlon\, Jeffrey Tate\, and Valery Gergiev\, Music Directors)\, the San Diego Symphony (David Atherton)\, and as Associate Principal Trumpet of the Houston Symphony (Lawrence Foster)\, touring most of the world’s major concert halls and festivals\, and recording for Sony\, EMI\, Virgin\, and Erato. A frequent guest with the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center\, Edward Carroll directed\, recorded\, and toured with the New York Trumpet Ensemble from 1979 to 1988. He has performed with the London Sinfonietta\, Speculum Musicae\, Music Today\, I Musici di Montreal\, Orpheus\, the Bach Aria Group\, the Handel and Haydn Society (Boston)\, and as soloist with many North American and European orchestras. Sir Harrison Birtwistle\, Larry Polansky\, Anne LeBaron\, Bruce Adolphe\, and Pulitzer Prize winner Paul Moravec are among the many composers that have written new music for him\, and his many solo recordings can be found on the Sony\, Vox\, MHS\, and Newport Classic labels.

Careful consideration of comfort in your outdoor gear is important when creating art in the open air.  Feel free to bring a full plein air kit or for ease & simplicity bring a simple sketchbook with pencil & pen\, or anything you like\, whatever works in your favor. There will be locations that involve light hiking\, which will be noted in the monthly location description. We will have complimentary hand warmers available to keep those fingers moving.  This drop-in series is an opportunity to create a fun community of artists\, to be inspired\, creative\, adventurous\, & to be amidst nature in all seasons throughout the year! \n**You can register and pay online in advance\, or if needed Heidi can collect cash or check for the class upon arrival. \nFee: \n$8/session for LAC members\n $12 for non-members

He serves as Professor of Trumpet and Coordinator of Brass Studies at the California Institute of the Arts (CalArts)\, Professor at the Bard Conservatory of Music\, and as a Senior Lecturer at Dartmouth College. Previous appointments include Associate Professor at McGill University’s Schulich School of Music in 2007-2011 (assuming the role of brass area chair in 2009)\, the International Chair of Brass Studies at London’s Royal Academy of Music and Professor of Trumpet at the Rotterdam (NL) Conservatory. Edward Carroll is the Director of the Center for Advanced Musical Studies at Chosen Vale\, and was responsible for the music programming of the California State Summer School of the Arts from 2006-2008. He also chaired the commissioning committee of the International Trumpet Guild (ITG) from 2005-2011. \nMr. Carroll has served as Principal Trumpet of the Rotterdam Philharmonic (James Conlon\, Jeffrey Tate\, and Valery Gergiev\, Music Directors)\, the San Diego Symphony (David Atherton)\, and as Associate Principal Trumpet of the Houston Symphony (Lawrence Foster)\, touring most of the world’s major concert halls and festivals\, and recording for Sony\, EMI\, Virgin\, and Erato. A frequent guest with the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center\, Edward Carroll directed\, recorded\, and toured with the New York Trumpet Ensemble from 1979 to 1988. He has performed with the London Sinfonietta\, Speculum Musicae\, Music Today\, I Musici di Montreal\, Orpheus\, the Bach Aria Group\, the Handel and Haydn Society (Boston)\, and as soloist with many North American and European orchestras. Sir Harrison Birtwistle\, Larry Polansky\, Anne LeBaron\, Bruce Adolphe\, and Pulitzer Prize winner Paul Moravec are among the many composers that have written new music for him\, and his many solo recordings can be found on the Sony\, Vox\, MHS\, and Newport Classic labels.
