DESCRIPTION:2025 Summer Outdoor Concert Series\nLive music starts at 7 pm. Vending begins at 6 pm.\nOn the lawn at the Stone Machine Shop.\nWhat’s better than a relaxing evening outside? FREE live music! \nJoin us on the lawn of the beautiful Stone Machine Shop on Wednesdays of July and August for some free\, live music! Bring chairs or a picnic blanket and spread out on the lawn and listen to the band play. \nBring a picnic dinner to enjoy or purchase food from the on-site food truck. You’re welcome to bring your own food and non-alcoholic drinks. (State liquor laws prohibit outside alcohol from being brought onto the premises.) \nThis is not a BYOB event. \nLeashed and well-behaved dogs are welcome to join us. \nVending begins at 6 pm and the music starts at 7 pm. The Museum’s gift shop will also be open for visitors to visit either before or during the show. \nIn the case of bad weather\, the show will go on!\nWe will move the concert inside. Unfortunately\, picnic blankets might be slightly less comfortable on the wood floor. \nBeer\, hard cider\, wine\, soda\, and snacks will be available to purchase during the concert. \nConcert Dates:\nJuly 2nd – Twangtown Paramours\nVendor: Enfield House of Pizza\n \nNashville-based husband-and-wife duo Mike T. Lewis and MaryBeth Zamer\, known on stage as The Twangtown Paramours\, have made a name for themselves defying boundaries with their award-winning catalogue of Americana\, Folk\, and Blues anthems. With a slew of accolades for their first three full-length albums\, they’ve earned a loyal following\, balancing serious instrumental and vocal chops with witty stage banter and a lighthearted approach to life.  Their latest album\, The Wind Will Change Again\, is an acoustic Folk record consisting of a collection of songs that the Twangers call their best to date. It was released in January of 2025 to rave reviews\, came in at #1 on the Folk Alliance International Chart\, and had six of the top ten songs for the month of release. \nHit songwriter\, session musician\, and producer Mike Lewis was born in NYC\, but his sound is informed by a mix of experiences across the country’s major music centers\, including NYC\, L.A.\, Austin\, and Nashville. Lead singer MaryBeth Zamer was a fixture in the Washington\, DC club scene for years and preformed with a popular local cover band before meeting up with Mike in 2009.  They released their debut self-titled album in 2010. \nJuly 9th – Never Too Late\nVendor: Enfield Mascoma Lion’s Club\n \nNever Too Late creates Americana and classic folk music performances with rich vocal harmonies accompanied by lively instrumentation. Whether the performance is an outdoor festival or intimate coffeehouse\, Never Too Late fully engages the audience for a fun and memorable experience. Band members include: \nSinger-songwriter Hilde Ojibway creates songs for the band that reflect life’s light and textures; \nMulti-talented Adam Sorscher stirs with his mandolin\, guitar\, banjo and vocal harmonies; \nOutstanding bassist Eric Bronstein marries folk and jazz traditions to ground the band’s sound; \nStunning vocalist Bethany Nafzinger soars with solo performances and heavenly harmonies. \nJuly 16th – Still Hill\nVendor: Enfield Mascoma Lion’s Club\n \nFormed in early 2016 and hailing from the woods of central Vermont\, Still Hill plays a unique blend of progressive bluegrass dipped in folk\, Americana\, and old-time roots music. Edward Carroll is the Director of the Center for Advanced Musical Studies at Chosen Vale\, and was responsible for the music programming of the California State Summer School of the Arts from 2006-2008. He also chaired the commissioning committee of the International Trumpet Guild (ITG) from 2005-2011. \nMr. Carroll has served as Principal Trumpet of the Rotterdam Philharmonic (James Conlon\, Jeffrey Tate\, and Valery Gergiev\, Music Directors)\, the San Diego Symphony (David Atherton)\, and as Associate Principal Trumpet of the Houston Symphony (Lawrence Foster)\, touring most of the world’s major concert halls and festivals\, and recording for Sony\, EMI\, Virgin\, and Erato. A frequent guest with the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center\, Edward Carroll directed\, recorded\, and toured with the New York Trumpet Ensemble from 1979 to 1988. He has performed with the London Sinfonietta\, Speculum Musicae\, Music Today\, I Musici di Montreal\, Orpheus\, the Bach Aria Group\, the Handel and Haydn Society (Boston)\, and as soloist with many North American and European orchestras. Sir Harrison Birtwistle\, Larry Polansky\, Anne LeBaron\, Bruce Adolphe\, and Pulitzer Prize winner Paul Moravec are among the many composers that have written new music for him\, and his many solo recordings can be found on the Sony\, Vox\, MHS\, and Newport Classic labels.

This extravaganza of music\, entertainment\, and fun will take place in Enfield Shaker Museum’s Chosen Vale Performance Center. \nThe Berklee Jazz Cats is a creative collaboration of three Berklee alumni jazz masters. Berklee College of Music in Boston is the top Jazz School in the world! \n   Pianist-vocalist Tim Kelly has had a fruitful career as a full-time performer\, having done over 9\,000 performances spanning several decades. A Berklee graduate in 1974\, Tim has shared the Marquee with such Jazz Stars as David Sanborn\, George Benson\, Gary Burton\, Patti LaBelle\, Rick Braun\, Jonathan Butler\, Marcus Miller etc. He brings virtuoso piano skills and creative Jazz vocals to every performance\, as well as fun and engaging interaction with the audience! \n   Saxophonist Dino Govoni has had a distinguished career as a performer and teacher at Berklee College of Music. He is a regular with the Boston Pops Orchestra as well as giving worldwide jazz performances representing Berklee. \n     Dino has performed with such Jazz luminaries as Grover Washington\, Jr.\, Randy Brecker\, Robben Ford\, Mel Tormé\, The Manhattan Transfer etc. and was featured in Arista Records’ star-studded 25th Anniversary Celebration\, performing with Aretha Franklin. Dino is known for his incredible passion\, creativity and masterful musicianship. \n    Les Harris\, Jr.\, also a Berklee alumni\, was the drummer with the renown jazz vocal group The Ritz\, appearing on seven recordings and performing worldwide. FREE live music! \nJoin us on the lawn of the beautiful Stone Machine Shop on August 14th to enjoy free\, live music with The Flames. Bring chairs or a picnic blanket and spread out on the lawn and listen to the band play. \nThis dynamic\, four piece band always promises to be a hit with their imaginative renditions of 50’s\, 60’s\, and 70’s rock’n’roll\, motown\, and other popular favorites. They have played for many years throughout the Upper Valley and beyond. They have appeared in a wide variety of events including concerts\, private parties\, weddings\, and clubs including the House of Blues. Members of the group include John Lovejoy on keyboard\, bass\, and vocals\, Cam Cross playing guitar and vocals\, Eric Von Ammon on the drums and vocals\, and Terry Langford playing the sax. \nBring a picnic dinner to enjoy or purchase food from the on-site food truck. You’re welcome to bring your own food and non-alcoholic drinks. Gail attended the Mannes College of Music studying piano with Nadia Riesenberg and the Juilliard School studying composition with Roger Sessions and Hal Overton. She has studied organ with Phillip Steinhaus\, Anthony Newman\, and Marilyn Mason. \nAndrew’s principal teachers were Ivan Galamian\, Alexander Schneider\, Pamela Gearhart\, and Raphael Druian. He was a founding member of the Concord String Quartet\, an ensemble that quickly gained international recognition by winning the Naumburg Chamber Music Award in 1972 and which performed more than 1\,200 concerts throughout the United States\, Canada\, and Europe. \n\nThe recital will be followed by a reception in the Enfield Shaker Museum Herb Garden (weather permitting) or the Great Stone Dwelling. \n\n\nReservations are not required. Lewis and MaryBeth Zamer\, known on stage as The Twangtown Paramours\, have made a name for themselves defying boundaries with their award-winning catalogue of Americana\, folk\, and blues anthems. With a slew of accolades for their three full-length albums\, they’ve earned a loyal following\, balancing serious instrumental and vocal chops with witty stage banter and a lighthearted approach to life. They don’t take themselves\, or the world\, too seriously. With their third album\, Double Down on a Bad Thing\, The Twangtown Paramours shift gears to showcase a full band\, electric\, groove-oriented\, upbeat\, soul-infused\, and retro blues sound. “We want people to have fun\, to cheer up\, to dance\, and to start sporting a positive attitude\, dammit\,” says Mike. \nHit songwriter\, session musician\, and producer Mike Lewis was born in NYC\, but his sound is informed by a mix of experiences across the country’s major music centers\, including NYC\, L.A.\, Austin\, and Nashville. He began learning classical and jazz guitar at age eight\, studying under Leonid Bolotine\, William Matthews\, and Barry Galbraith\, before earning degrees at Columbia in New York City and the Grove School of Music in Los Angeles. He wrote a #1 platinum pop hit ranked the 2nd biggest-selling female ballad of all time in Korea\, and occasionally plays upright bass for Jimmie Dale Gilmore. \nBorn in Washington D.C.\, lead singer MaryBeth Zamer was raised on a mix of opera and American songbook music\, singing along to Dean Martin and Ella Fitzgerald\, before discovering Little Feat\, Bonnie Raitt\, and the blues in high school. In 2012\, he was invited to perform at both the Calvin Coolidge Theater in The Library of Congress and The Kennedy Center for Performing Arts. He has had the pleasure of working with Christopher Lloyd in a recent production of\, “Call Of The Wild 3D” and assisted in the scoring of the film. He now lives in Newbury\, Vermont with his wife and daughter. He works and teaches in collaboration with the Vermont Folklife Center and has recently started an independent record label called Rock Farmer Records with the mission of producing\, recording\, and preserving Roots music. This summer Gail and her violinist husband\, Andy will present their 40th concert in the St. Gaudens Summer Concert Series. \nColleen was formerly Co-Artistic Director of the Apple Hill Center for Chamber Music in Nelson\, NH and second violinist in the Apple Hill String Quartet. Join us for a taste journey featuring herbal infused cocktails and mocktails paired with a sumptuous hors d’oeuvres buffet as you enjoy the Grace Marie Wallace Quartet preforming their one-of-kind smooth jazz! Grace will be accompanied by Peter Concilio on bass\, Tim Gilmore on drums\, and Bob Merrill on piano. \n\nHerbal cocktails excite the taste buds\, offer a refreshing treat on humid summer days and are a favorite way to use plants during the summertime. They can be made as a mocktail or cocktail\, depending on your personal preference. The cocktail tasting includes four types of drinks and recipes to try at home. Once you find the drink you like the best\, a full-sized version will be available to purchase. \nCocktail tasting and hors d’oeuvres begin at 7:30 pm. Bring a blanket or lawn chairs and join us on the lawn in front of Mary Keane Chapel for this FREE performance! \n\nEnfield Shaker Museum is hosting Jeff Warner for this “Humanities to Go” presentation. FREE live music! \nJoin us on the lawn of the beautiful La Salette Shrine on June 28th to enjoy free\, live music with The Flames. Bring chairs or a picnic blanket and spread out in the field and listen to our bands play. \nThis dynamic\, four piece band always promises to be a hit with their imaginative renditions of 50’s\, 60’s\, and 70’s rock’n’roll\, motown\, and other popular favorites. They have played for many years throughout the Upper Valley and beyond. They have appeared in a wide variety of events including concerts\, private parties\, weddings\, and clubs including the House of Blues.\nMembers of the group include John Lovejoy on keyboard\, bass\, and vocals\, Cam Cross playing guitar and vocals\, Eric Von Ammon on the drums and vocals\, and Terry Langford playing the sax. \nBring a picnic dinner to enjoy or purchase food from the on-site food truck. You’re welcome to bring your own food and non-alcoholic drinks. (State liquor laws prohibit outside alcohol from being brought onto the premises.) \nLeashed and well-behaved dogs are welcome to join us. \nVending begins at 6 pm and the music starts at 7 pm. The Museum’s gift shop will also be open for visitors to visit either before or during the show. \nIn the case of bad weather\, the show will go on!\nWe will move the concert inside. DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Patrick Ross will be the Grand Finale of our Summer Concert Series. \n“Vermont born\, fifth-generation fiddle player\, Patrick Ross won the Vermont-State Fiddle Championship at age fourteen. He has performed at the Grand Ole Opry and shared stages with Willie Nelson\, Johnny Cash\, and Paul McCartney. In 2012\, he was invited to perform at both the Calvin Coolidge Theater in The Library of Congress and The Kennedy Center for Performing Arts. He has had the pleasure of working with Christopher Lloyd in a recent production of\, “Call Of The Wild 3D” and assisted in the scoring of the film. He now lives in Newbury\, Vermont with his wife and daughter. He works and teaches in collaboration with the Vermont Folklife Center and has recently started an independent record label called Rock Farmer Records with the mission of producing\, recording\, and preserving Roots music.
