It features furniture\, photos and artifacts from the Enfield\, NH Shaker community. \n \n  \nFunded in part through a generous grant from National Endowment for the Humanities: Democracy demands Wisdom.

DESCRIPTION:Mary Keane Chapel Solo Organ Recital\nSunday\, September 8\, 2024\n4:00 pm\nEnfield Shaker Museum\nFeaturing\nJoshua Brown – Organ\n\n\n\n\n\n\nJoshua Brown’s solo organ recital focuses on music written and inspired by English musicians and features works by Stainer\, Howells\, Carter and Mendelssohn.  \nOrganist and conductor Joshua Brown serves as Music Director at Norwich Congregational Church in Norwich\, Vermont. He holds degrees in Church Music and Organ Performance from Susquehanna University and Northwestern University and has spent over 20 years serving as musician to congregations in Wisconsin\, New York and Vermont. In addition to leading the music ministry at Norwich Congregational Church Mr. Brown serves as Director of the Kendal Chorale\, accompanist for the middle and high school in Hanover\, New Hampshire\, and Musical Director for We the People Theater. \n\nThis Mary Keane Chapel Solo Rogan Recital will be followed by a reception in the Enfield Shaker Museum Herb Garden (weather permitting) or the Great Stone Dwelling. \n\n\nReservations are not required. Plenty of free parking. \nSuggested donation $15.00. All concert donations support the ongoing restoration of the historic Casavant Organ in Mary Keane Chapel. \n\n\n\n
