Herb and Berry CSA Program
The Museum Garden’s Community Supported Agriculture Program is back for its second year! We will offer 15 weeks of fresh herbs as well as in-season berries and fruits. The program cost is $125 and will include a museum membership for the 2020 season. While the season is subject to weather, it will most likely run from early June to late September.
Each week a newsletter of available varieties, with tips and recipes, will appear in your email inbox. You will have at least two opportunities each week to come by the gardens and “pick-your-own” of your choice selections. Each share includes three “choices.” For instance: one week you may want to partake of a half-pint of organic raspberries, a bunch of lemon basil, and a small bouquet of lavender flowers. This would be one “share.” For another week perhaps your three selections would include stalks of organic rhubarb, a bunch of parsley, and a bag of lemon balm. That would also be one “share.”
Each week we will offer many selections available from throughout our gardens: medicinal, dye, fragrance, everlasting, culinary, etc. All the organic herbs you could hope for can be yours with our CSA. With the addition of berries and small fruits for about you really can’t go wrong!
