Evening Yoga in the Garden
Reconnect with yourself and nature during a peaceful evening of Yoga in the Garden at the Enfield Shaker Museum.
Join us on Wednesday, August 12 at 6:00 PM for an accessible, all-levels yoga class. This class is set among the beauty and tranquility of the Museum’s historic gardens. Surrounded by blooming flowers, fresh air, and the peaceful spirit of the Shaker landscape. This is the perfect opportunity to slow down, breathe deeply, and restore both body and mind.
This holistic yoga practice will be led by Caleigh, an experienced yoga instructor (RYT-500) and registered nurse. She creates a welcoming and supportive environment for practitioners of all experience levels. Through mindful movement, gentle stretching, breath work, and relaxation. You will be guided through a calming flow designed to help reduce stress, improve flexibility, and leave you feeling refreshed and renewed.
The class includes modifications and options throughout, allowing each participant to move at their own pace. Caleigh encourages you to honoring your body’s individual needs. Whether you’re new to yoga or have an established practice, you’ll find a comfortable and encouraging space to move, breathe, and unwind.
Accessibility: This class is appropriate for participants who are able to get down to the ground and back up without holding onto something, stand unsupported, and comfortably bear weight on their hands, wrists, and knees.
Please wear comfortable, stretchy clothing and bring:
- A yoga mat or beach towel
- A water bottle
- Any props that help support your practice, such as a yoga block or blanket (optional)
In the event of inclement weather, the class will be held indoors in the historic Stone Mill Building, ensuring a comfortable experience rain or shine.
After class, take a few moments to stroll through the gardens, explore the peaceful museum grounds, or simply enjoy the beauty of a summer evening at the Enfield Shaker Museum.
