Layered Book Ornament Workshop
Friday, December 11, 2026 | 4–7 pm
Instructor: Jean Reed, Murray Hill Weaving
Create a charming miniature book ornament to treasure for years to come! Join instructor Jean Reed of Murray Hill Weaving for a hands-on workshop exploring the art of folded paper bookmaking.
This ornament is a delightful little book with a surprise inside! When closed, it folds into a compact miniature keepsake. Open it up, and the folded pages fan out into a beautiful three-dimensional star, perfect for hanging on your Christmas tree or displaying as part of your holiday decorations.
Using festive holiday papers, ribbons, beads, stickers, and stamps, you’ll create your own unique ornament, complete with a decorative bead closure. Measuring approximately 2½–3 inches when closed, this interactive paper creation makes a lovely addition to your holiday decorations or a thoughtful handmade gift.
