Herb and Berry CSA Program
The Museum Garden’s Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) Program is back for its third year! We will offer 15 weeks of fresh herbs as well as in-season berries and fruits. The program cost is $125 and includes an annual museum membership. While the season is subject to weather, it will most likely run from early June to late September.
Each week a newsletter of available varieties, with tips and recipes, will appear in your email inbox. You will have at least two opportunities each week to come by the garden and “pick-your-own” share of what our Garden Coordinator deems is ripe and ready for you. Each share includes three “choices.” For instance: one week you may want to partake of a half-pint of organic raspberries, a bunch of lemon basil, and a small bouquet of lavender flowers. This would be one “share.” For another week perhaps your three selections would include stalks of organic rhubarb, a bunch of parsley, and a bag of lemon balm. That would also be one “share.”
Each week we will offer many selections available from throughout our gardens: medicinal, dye, fragrance, everlasting, culinary, etc. All the organic herbs you could hope for can be yours with our CSA. With the addition of berries and small fruits, you really can’t go wrong!
Registration is open for our 2021 season!
