Embark on a journey to cultivate well-being in our workshop, Herbal Remedies for Better Digestion. Herbal teas and liqueurs have a long history of being used to support digestive health, and are still important to many culinary traditions. Â We will start in the Enfield Shaker Herb Garden searching for aromatic and bitter plants, nibbling them discussing how they work to improve digestive functions, and discovering that taste has a lot to do with their actions. Along the way we will harvest some of these herbs, then bring them to the kitchen where you will learn to make a digestive bitter tincture for you to take home.
Workshop Highlights:
Introduction to Medicinal Herbs: Â Explore the rich history and benefits of medicinal herbs for digestive health. Learn about the specific herbs known for their digestion properties.
Hands-on Herbal Remedies: Â Engage in a hands-on session crafting herbal remedies for digestive support. Create a tincture using a variety of digestive herbs.
Holistic Approach to Digestive Wellness: Â Explore complimentary practices and dietary choices for comprehensive digestive health.
